Pierre Cardin Dresses Marco Polo

Always dedicated to bridging the cultural gap, Pierre Cardin paid tribute to his “hero” Marco Polo as co-producer, costume and stage designer for the ballet Marco Polo: The Last Mission in Shanghai on Sunday night.

上芭原创舞剧《马可波罗――最后的使命》周日晚在上海城市剧院上演。

Having spent 31 years bringing Western fashion and culture to China and taking Chinese designs and models to the West, Cardin said the biggest change he has observed is that Chinese are now more open-minded. Many thanks to Mr. Pierre Cardin for his contribution to the cultural exchange between China and the West and the unique and fabulous approach this time.
