Yesterday I had a special, somewhat amusing, street fashion assignment for China Auto Pictorial, China’s largest automobile magazine. My accomplice in this dark mission was this editor of the magazine’s lifestyle section.

Outside Lacoste
I met no other than my dear friend Adam at the Lacoste Press Day for the FW10 Collection. The event took place in a brand new venue: Beijing Museum of Visual Art. Adam is here studying Chinese for the summer.

A Terence Koh Fan
A bit late with this, but celebrity artist Terence Koh gave quite a performance the other weekend at UCCA, in 798 (and, more interestingly, adopted a baby named Bei Bei). This rather impressive looking fellow was one of the highlights of the afternoon for me. He was there from several hours before waiting for the performance to start. Though most might find this to be too much, he does innovate on traditional elements quite interestingly.
Recycled Asia
Currie Lee opened D-SATA, a store in Beijing, carrying her creations, which include colorful party purses and card holders, made of snake and frog skin, and chunky necklaces made from water buffalo horns, to name a few. Yu Wu (å´ä¿£) had a discussion with her recently.

Ran into this young lady again. Next door, Vogue was putting on a shopping event in cooperation with several brands that have presences in Sanlitun Village.
