To Paris for Lacoste

In three hours, I will be boarding an Air France flight to Paris. There, I will attend the release of Lacoste’s 2010 Collector’s Series. The launch party is on June 25 at the Musée des Arts et Métiers (Museum of Arts and Industry).

A Terence Koh Fan

A bit late with this, but celebrity artist Terence Koh gave quite a performance the other weekend at UCCA, in 798 (and, more interestingly, adopted a baby named Bei Bei). This rather impressive looking fellow was one of the highlights of the afternoon for me. He was there from several hours before waiting for the performance to start. Though most might find this to be too much, he does innovate on traditional elements quite interestingly.

Currie Lee opened D-SATA, a store in Beijing, carrying her creations, which include colorful party purses and card holders, made of snake and frog skin, and chunky necklaces made from water buffalo horns, to name a few. Yu Wu (吴俣) had a discussion with her recently.
