In a vintage factory uniform made in Beijing’s Fengtai district, Meng was back to the assembly line his weekend for the Creators Project, which took place in a range of former parts factories and warehouses at Beijing’s 798. Sponsored by Vice Magazine and Intel, the Creators Project was on its final stop after events in New York, London, and Seoul.
The event gathered a range of international designers, artists, rockstars, and other creatives to show off their various wares, with a particular focus on incorporating design and technology.
Fluent in English, Meng works as both a translator and a graphic designer. A regular Stylites viewer, Meng said he thought it “could be a little weird to see my silly face there”. How modest!
