The opening aperitif is tomorrow (Friday, Feb 22) at 19:00 in the LD Design Center (东四åæ¡94å· ). Tasty, locally produced and “as organic as possible” food from Laura Fanelli’s ‘The Veggie Table’ will be served as well as one of the only very good cheeses made in Beijing by Yang Liu’s ‘Le Fromager de Pékin’.
“NO MORE MONO is the first event of the Beijing Fashion Collective which technically doesn’t yet exist. Beyond the artistic aspects are we trying to group local fashion designers to group-purchase Chinese organic fabrics. At our urban organic fashion project NEEMIC we experience that it is hardly possible to reach minimum-order quantities. But together we gain purchasing power and might succeed more often!”
